This Privacy Policy explains what information WaifuDreams collects on waifudreams.com and adult.waifudreams.com, why it is used, and how visitor privacy is protected.
Information the Gallery collects
The Gallery uses functional cookies and session data to operate features such as content preferences, adult-content confirmation, security protections, likes, ratings, and other site functionality.
When you like or rate artwork, the Gallery may associate that interaction with a randomly generated browser-session identifier. This helps prevent duplicate interactions without requiring an account.
If you submit a comment, the Gallery stores the name you provide, the comment text, the associated artwork, and the time of submission.
Accounts and public profiles
If you create an account, WaifuDreams stores your username, email address, a password hash when you set a password, account creation and login times, and authentication-session records. Passwords are stored as hashes rather than readable passwords.
Account activity may include favorites, ratings, comments, and account-related events. Profile information you choose to publish, such as a display name, biography, avatar, and public favorites or comments, may be visible to other visitors. Your account email and password hash are not displayed as public profile fields.
Patreon connections
If you choose to sign in with or connect Patreon, WaifuDreams may receive and store your Patreon user identifier, name, email, profile image URL, membership status, and entitlement amount as authorized by you. This information is used for sign-in, account linking, and supporter features. WaifuDreams does not receive your Patreon password or payment-card details. Patreon processes memberships and payments under its own policies.
You can disconnect Patreon through your WaifuDreams account settings. Disconnecting removes the stored Patreon connection and profile record; it does not cancel your Patreon membership, delete your WaifuDreams account, or necessarily remove information already copied into your account profile. Manage billing directly through Patreon.
Contact messages
When you use the contact form, WaifuDreams stores your reply email, optional name, selected category, subject, message, submission time, and message status. These details are used to respond to questions, privacy requests, artwork or rights concerns, and security reports. Contact messages are not published as gallery comments.
Cookies and local preferences
The Gallery uses cookies necessary for site functionality and preferences, including session information, Gallery sorting preferences, content-rating preferences, remembered search terms and page positions, and security protections.
The Gallery does not currently use advertising cookies or a separate third-party advertising tracker.
Privacy choices, traffic and advertising
Our custom first-party visitor counters and their admin dashboard have been retired. New page views, visitor identifiers, referrers and outbound-click events are no longer written to that system. Its existing records are removed from the active database during the update after a verified recovery backup. Empty legacy database structures remain for migration compatibility; backups may retain earlier records until those backups expire.
Cloudflare provides network delivery, security and network-level traffic reports. These reports count requests and estimated visitors, including automated traffic, and are different from browser analytics. The optional Cloudflare browser analytics beacon is blocked by our content security policy and should be disabled in Cloudflare settings.
Necessary cookies keep forms, sign-in, security and requested preferences working. Google Analytics 4 loads only if you allow Analytics. It measures page visits and related site activity and can associate permitted campaign parameters (UTMs) with those visits. Optional advertising loads only after Marketing / Advertising permission where an advertising provider is configured. Reject non-essential leaves both categories off. We honor Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track by keeping both optional categories off.
The consent_v1 cookie remembers both acceptance and rejection for 180 days in this browser. Cookie settings in the footer lets you change or withdraw permission. Withdrawal disables further tracking, clears accessible first-party measurement cookies and reloads the page to stop previously loaded code. It cannot retract requests already sent or delete records already held by providers. A changed category version asks for a new choice. Clearing browser storage or changing browsers can require another choice.
No Meta Pixel ID is configured for this site in this update. The shared consent module supports one if the owner later adds an appropriate ID and updates these disclosures. Account, authentication and admin pages are excluded from optional trackers. On adult.waifudreams.com, Google Analytics loads only after age confirmation and Analytics permission. Both galleries use the same WaifuDreams Analytics property; their hostnames distinguish their traffic.
Google AdSense is not activated by this update. The existing publisher authorization in ads.txt is retained. If AdSense is enabled later, its advertising, storage and privacy-message requirements must be configured separately, including a Google-certified consent platform where required. This custom banner is not a Google-certified consent platform. Ads are not automatically requested after rejection.
Google and other providers may change their cookie behavior and retention. Actual provider-set expiry is visible in your browser. Operational security systems and explicitly requested third-party services may set additional cookies, including Cloudflare anti-abuse cookies, newsletter spam protection or checkout cookies; those services have separate privacy practices. External checkout is not controlled by this site's consent cookie.
Security and abuse prevention
The Gallery uses technical safeguards such as CSRF protection, rate limiting, authentication controls, and security logging to protect the site from abuse and unauthorized access.
The Gallery application may create one-way identifiers from connection information for security and rate-limiting purposes. Raw IP addresses are not intentionally stored in the Gallery database for those rate-limiting records.
Cloudflare
The Gallery uses Cloudflare for services including network delivery, security, HTTPS, and traffic protection. Requests to the site pass through Cloudflare, which may process information such as IP addresses, request metadata, traffic-routing information, and security signals according to Cloudflare's own policies.
How information is used
Information collected by the Gallery is used to operate site features, remember preferences, display visitor interactions, prevent abuse, maintain security, and understand the general operation of the site.
Sharing and selling information
The Gallery does not sell visitor personal information. Information may be processed by service providers, such as Cloudflare, when necessary to operate, secure, and deliver the site.
Data retention
Preference cookies may remain on a device for an extended period so the Gallery can remember selected settings. Likes, ratings, and comments may remain in the Gallery database until they are removed. Short-lived security records may be retained as needed to detect and prevent abuse.
Legacy analytics records have been removed from the active database by this update. Recovery backups may retain older data until those backups expire.
Private member generation pilot
Pilot prompts, queue status, payment-verification access records, and generated images are associated with your account. You and the site owner can access them; the owner reviews prompts and images. Approved requests may be processed by the owner’s local ComfyUI generation service. They are not published to the public gallery. You can delete completed or pending requests from My Dreams. We retain a minimal request record to enforce daily limits, and copies in recovery backups remain until those backups expire. Saved images remain available after pilot access expires unless deleted or the service closes.
Account and profile records, linked-service information, and contact messages are retained as needed to provide the service, handle requests, maintain security, and meet applicable obligations. Removing public content does not necessarily remove copies from backups immediately.
Your choices and privacy requests
For questions about your information or requests to access, correct, or delete it, use the contact form, select General, and put “Privacy request” in the subject. Identify the relevant account or information, but do not send passwords, payment details, or identity documents through the form. We may ask for limited information to verify the request before taking action.
Requests are reviewed under applicable requirements. Some records may need to be retained for security, legal obligations, or legitimate unresolved matters. A privacy request does not cancel a membership with Patreon or another service.
You can clear cookies or site data through your browser. Doing so may reset Gallery preferences, adult-content confirmation, and anonymous interaction identifiers.
Depending on where you live, applicable privacy law may provide additional rights regarding personal information.
Children and audience ratings
WaifuDreams is not intended for children under 13. Children under 13 should not create accounts or submit personal information through comments or contact forms. The Adult gallery is for people 18 or older, or the higher age required where they live. The “Everyone” artwork label describes the content rating; it does not mean the account service is intended for young children.
If you believe a child under 13 has submitted personal information, please use the contact form so the concern can be reviewed.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the Gallery adds or changes features that affect privacy. The date at the top of this page will show when the policy was most recently updated.
